With our Mailchimp integration, you can now sync your Fanlist fans to your Mailchimp audience.
This makes it VERY easy for you to use Fanlist to capture leads, and leverage Mailchimp to send newsletters to fans.
Connect Your Mailchimp Account
First, you'll need to connect your Mailchimp account. This should take less than 1 minute.
- Login to your Fanlist dashboard
- Click "fans" on the main menu
- Click on "integrations" tab
- Click "Connect Mailchimp" button
- Follow the directions to login to your Mailchimp account
- Once you authorize Fanlist, you should return to the Fanlist integrations tab
- Select the Mailchimp audience you want to sync
- Click the "Save" button
That's it!
Now, when you get a new contact in Fanlist, that contact will be pushed to your designated Mailchimp audience.
Edit Mailchimp Connection
If you want to change your Mailchimp audience, just click the "edit" button and select your new audience.
From that point forward, your Fanlist contacts will start syncing with your newly defined Mailchimp audience.
Export to Mailchimp
If you already a collection of contacts in Fanlist, and THEN you decide to connect your Mailchimp audience. No problem. Just click the "Export" button, and this will push ALL your Fanlist contacts into your defined Mailchimp audience.
If you repeatedly do this export function, we do not duplicate contacts in your Mailchimp audience list.
Troubleshooting & Issues
If a Fanlist contact isn't synced to your Mailchimp audience, it's probably because Mailchimp has flagged that contact as spam. Mailchimp has these automated measures to prevent spam in their system.
If this happens, the only thing you can do is manually enter that contact into your Mailchimp audience in the Mailchimp dashboard.
