It's super easy to publish episodes for your premium podcast on Fanlist.
To do this, simply...
- Login to your Fanlist dashboard
- Click "membership" on the main menu
- Click the "episodes" tab
- Click the "add episode" button
Here, the side drawer will open asking you for some episode details. Here are the episode details below:
Episode Title
Enter the title of the episode here. The maximum characters allowed is 60 characters.
Description
Enter a description of the episode here. Often, this is referred to as the episode "show notes".
This field allows a maximum of 4000 characters and supports some rich text, such as hyperlinks, bold, italics, bullet lists, numbered lists, and line breaks.
Audio File
Upload the audio file of your episode here. We recommend MP3 format only.
On upload, we do transcode your audio file, and standardize the output to:
- File format: MP3
- Bitrate: 128kbps CBR (constant bitrate)
- Sample rate: 44.1kHz
- Channel mode: Stereo
Contains Explicit Content
If your episodes contain profanity, words, or topics that may be considered age-sensitive subjects that are not suitable for children, you'll want to toggle this "on".
Use Custom Artwork
You can upload custom artwork ONLY if it's different from the cover art you uploaded for your podcast details. If it's not different, please leave this field toggled "off".
Publish Settings
Once you're ready to publish your episode, just toggle this "on" and set your publish date. If you set a publish date in the future, your episode will be "scheduled" to publish at the set time.
