Before posting premium episodes, you'll first need to set up your premium podcast details. Just like a normal podcast, podcast details are required so podcast players can display your podcast properly for your subscribers.
Here are the 5 basic details we'll need for your premium podcast:
Podcast Name
This is the name of your premium podcast. Typically, this is a similar variation to your normal free podcast feed.
So, let's say you have a podcast called "True Crime Weekly". Your premium podcast hosted on Fanlist might be called "True Crime Weekly Plus" or "True Crime Weekly: Premium".
Podcast Description
Here, you can describe your premium podcast and what subscribers can expect from your premium episodes. This field supports line breaks, but no other formatting is supported.
Cover Art
This is your podcast cover art. Since this premium podcast feed is a bit different from your free podcast feed, we recommend making this cover art just a bit different from your regular cover art.
Consider making the background a different color or adding some "premium" or "bonus" indicator in the artwork. This will help your subscribers differentiate between your podcasts in their podcast apps.
Author Display Name
Enter the full name of the podcast author(s) or host(s) here. This name will appear in the podcast listening apps.
Explicit Content
If any of your episodes contain profanity, words, or topics that may be considered age-sensitive subjects that are not suitable for children, you'll want to toggle this "on".
