If you want to give a fan a free membership, you can always "gift" a membership to any existing fan.
This feature comes in handy for giving memberships to contest winners and special friends of your show. It also comes in handy for gifting a membership to yourself or to a team member.
To gift a membership, the fan must exist in your fan list already. This means the user must've taken ANY kind of action on your Fanlist fan page. If the person isn't on your fan list, simply ask them to leave a message or like an existing message.
To gift a membership to a fan, simply...
- Login to your Fanlist dashboard
- Click "membership" on the main menu
- Click the "members" tab
- Click the "Gift Membership" button
- Search or scroll to find the name of the fan you want to gift a membership
- Click the + button next to the fan's name
That's it, that fan is now added as a "member" on your members list.
Your fan will receive a confirmation email that they've received a free membership.
