If you want to give a fan a free subscription, you can always "gift" a subscription to any existing fan.
This feature can come in handy for giving subscriptions to contest winners or maybe for friends. It also comes in handy for gifting a subscription to yourself or a team admin.
To gift a subscription, the fan must exist in your fan list. This means the user must've taken ANY kind of action on your Fanlist fan page. If the person isn't on your fan list, simply ask them to leave a message or like an existing message.
To gift a subscription, simply...
- Login to your Fanlist dashboard
- Click "subscription" on the main menu
- Click the "subscribers" tab
- Click the "Gift Subscription" button
- Search or scroll to find the name of the fan you want to gift a subscription
- Click the + button next to the fan's name
That's it, that fan is now added as a "subscriber".
Your fan will receive a confirmation email that they've received a free subscription.
